Aim of the education
- to train civil engineers with practical abilities, to be able to execute construction, design and authority work
- also, to ensure for the graduates to be able to continue their studies to obtain MSc and later PhD degrees.
According to their specialization, graduates will be able to
- achieve chartered status, after completing the required period in practice
- solve minor development tasks alone
- do essential civil engineering work in complex projects under supervision

Note: Graduates of fire safety and disaster management automatically obtain the competence of the former college-level course. After completing additional courses, they can obtain further qualifications.
Specialization in Building Structures and Geotechnics
- building supervisor, enterprising engineer, technologist and head at different levels in companies of civil works and civil engineering
- leading engineer, company head at industrial works and structure producing factories
- assistant designer, designer in design offices, senior designer after sufficient practice
- contractor, entrepreneur -engineer at governmental authorities
- teacher/lecturer (in vocational training, in higher education)
Specialization in Fire Safety and Disaster Management
- technical officer in governmental fire departments
- chief technical officer in municipal fire departments
- fire safety specialist at insurance companies, engineering offices, economic organizations
Specialization of Urban Planning
- engineer in design offices, public works companies, economic organizations
- participation in the planning of settlement infrastructure at municipalities
- planning of authority projects, environmental investments
